Trainer aircraft crashes in Telangana’s Nalgonda, Trainee Pilot Dies
Atrainer aircraft crashed in Telangana’s Nalgonda on Saturday. The trainee pilot, identified as 28-year-old G Mahima from Tamil Nadu, died in the crash. The aircraft – a Flytech Aviation Cessna 152 – had taken off from Macherla in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. It is believed that it hit an electric pole before crashing to the ground. It was flying across the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana border and crashed in an agricultural field in Tungaturthi village of Nalgonda district in Telangana. The Indo-Oman exercise, Eastern Bridge-VI (2022) was successfully conducted at Air Force Station Jodhpur from 21 to 25 February 2022, informed the Ministry of Defence on Saturday. According to the ministry, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) participated with Indian Air Force (lAF) in the exercise which was aimed at providing operational exposure and undertaking mutual exchange of best practices, towards enhancing operational capabilities of both the Air Forces.
