Heavy Lift Made In India Drone To Be Available For E-Commerce

In two years from now, the first made-in-India ‘heavy lift’ drones could begin redefining e-commerce operations in the country. These will be able to transport 150 kilograms of cargo to a distance of 150 km. In doing so, a package, which presently takes up to 72 hours to deliver, will be delivered between 8 and 12 hours. Group Captain Varun Singh Only Survivor of Tamil Nadu Helicopter Crash In Critical Condition

Group Captain Varun Singh, the only survivor of the helicopter crash in which Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and 12 others were killed, is “critical, but stable”. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told parliament that he is on life support and “all efforts are being made to save him”. Group Captain Singh is being treated for severe burn injuries at the military hospital in Wellington. He will be shifted to Bengaluru, his father, Colonel KP Singh (retired), said, according to PTI. “He is being shifted to Bengaluru. I have reached Wellington,” Col Singh was quoted as saying by PTI.

Indian Air Force aircraft to fly with indigenous biojet fuel

Indigenous bio-jet fuel made by Dehradun-based CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum Dehradun (IIP) has received formal approval for use in Air Force aircraft. Earlier, the Air Force has done its trial. CBI Arrest Indian Air Force Officer In Corruption Case

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a civilian gazetted officer with the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Pune for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 for processing a staffer’s application for transfer to a defence establishment in Dehu Road. The Pune-based Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI has arrested the officer, identified as Suryakant Sangale. Sangale is currently posted with the Lohegaon-based 2 Wing of IAF. CBI officials said the complainant in the case is a housekeeping staffer at the 2 Wing, who had moved an application in July this year for his mutual transfer to the station headquarters

IAF To Get 70,000 AK-103 Rifles From Russia
