Army recruit gang busted, three arrested including jawan
The crime branch of the Pune Police of Maharashtra and the Liaison Unit (Military Vigilance) of the Southern Command busted the gang for conducting fake recruitment for the army during a written examination on Sunday. A senior police officer gave this information. Police said the gang was busted during the general recruitment examination being conducted at the Military Physical Training Institute (AIPT) and three people, including an army man, were arrested. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Bachchan Singh said, “We received information from the Army officials regarding the forgery of today’s entrance examination to be held at the AIPT ground.”
