Trishul Defence Academy 
Sunday was a historic day for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP). For the first time in the history of ITBP, two women combat officers have been appointed. These two women were inducted as Combat Officers in the passing out parade at ITBP Academy held in Mussoorie. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was specially present during the parade.
This is the first time this year that two women officers, Prakriti and Diksha, who joined ITBP through the UPSC selection process (CAPF AC Exam), also took the oath of service to the nation in this team. Diksha’s father, one of these two women officers, is an inspector serving in the ITBP. After the parade, Diksha said, “My father is my role model, he always inspired me.”

AFCAT 2 2021 Admit Card Released
Both the women officers have been appointed as Assistant Commandants. Till now, women officers in ITBP used to serve only in the medical branch, but for the first time they have been commissioned as combat officers. The country has got 53 Assistant Commandants after the passing out parade of ITBP.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah was to come first in the passing out parade ceremony of ITBP Academy. But due to some reasons his program got canceled. After this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took part in the program. DG of CM ITBP also released a book ‘History of ITBP’ on this occasion. This book is published by ITBP Force Academy, Mussoorie.
