General MM Naravane Appointed As CoSC Chairman
The government has appointed General MM Naravane, Chief of Army Staff, as the Chairman of Chiefs of Staff Committee (Chairman, CoSC), the post which fell vacant after the sudden demise of the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash on December 8. A source on Wednesday confirmed: “General Naravane has taken over the role of the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee, which includes the Chiefs of Navy and Air Force Staff too.” General Naravane is the senior-most chief of the Staff. NDA 2 2021 Official Result Declared
NDA 2 2021 Official Result : The result of National Defense Academy Paper 2 (NDA 2 2021) has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The candidates who had appeared in this examination can check the result (UPSC NDA 2 Result 2021) by visiting the official website- upsc.gov.in. A total of 8010 Aspirants have cleared the NDA written exam. A total of over 5 lakh applicants appeared for the exam, out of this, over 1.7 lakh female applicants appeared for the first time for this examination. A drone-like device detained near Army’s firing range in Jaisalmer

Lone survivor in Tamil Nadu helicopter crash, IAF’s Group Captain Varun Singh dies
Captain Varun Singh dies : Indian Air Force Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of the helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, has passed away. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has given this information through its social media handle. The IAF wrote, “We are deeply pained to inform that Group Captain Varun Singh has passed away. He passed away on December 8, 2021 due to injuries sustained in a helicopter accident in Tamil Nadu. Police Bus Attacked : A police bus was attacked by terrorists in a highly fortified area of Srinagar on Monday.
