Udhampur Helicopter Crash : Army helicopter crashed in Shivgarh Dhar of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing two pilots. The two pilots which got martyred on the line of duty were Major Anuj Rajput and Major Rohit Kumar.
During this, both the pilot and the co-pilot were injured who were admitted to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, both the pilots died during treatment. In a statement issued by the Army, it was told that during training in Patnitop area today, a Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army has crashed in Shivgarh Dhar of Udhampur district.
Police said there was heavy fog in the area, so it cannot be said right now whether it was a helicopter crash or a crash landing. Jammu and Kashmir Police informed that local people had informed about the downing of a helicopter near Patnitop area of ​​Udhampur. We have sent the team to the area.

Udhampur Helicopter Crash : Officials informed that the incident took place between 10.30 am and 10.45 am in Shivgarh Dhar area of ​​the district. He told that the local people pulled out a pilot from the helicopter. This helicopter belongs to the Aviation Corps of the Army. A defense spokesperson of the Northern Command has informed about the accident. He said that information related to the accident is being collected and the army will issue a statement in this regard.
A top district official said that a police team has left for the remote area and it will take them some time to reach there. Earlier, on August 3, an Indian Army helicopter crashed in the Ranjit Sagar Dam. The accident happened around 10.20 am in the morning. The Dhruv helicopter of the Army’s Aviation Squadron had taken off from Mamoon Cantt. The helicopter was patrolling near Ranjit Sagar Dam during the accident. Due to hitting the hill, it fell straight into the dam.
