Vice Admiral SN Ghormade on Saturday took over as the new Deputy Chief of Naval Staff in place of Vice Admiral G Ashok Kumar. Earlier Ghoramde was the Deputy Chief of the Integrated Defense Staff (Operations and Training) at the Integrated Defense Staff Headquarters. Please inform that G Ashok Kumar is retiring today. Ghormade has also served as the Chief of Staff of the Eastern Naval Command. Ghormade was inducted into the Navy on 1 January 1984.
