The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr.Virendra Kumar, on August 07, 2021, launched the Pradhan Mantri Daksh Portal and Pradhan Mantri Daksh Mobile App to make skill development schemes accessible to the target groups. This app has been developed by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with National e-Governance Division (NEGD). 27 percent reservation for OBC students and 10 percent for EWS in medical courses

New guidelines on social media released by central government
On 25 February 2021, the central government released guidelines for social media and OTT platforms.
