PM Daksh Portal & App Launched For Skill Development

The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr.Virendra Kumar, on August 07, 2021, launched the Pradhan Mantri Daksh Portal and Pradhan Mantri Daksh Mobile App to make skill development schemes accessible to the target groups.

This app has been developed by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with National e-Governance Division (NEGD).

The Pradhan Mantri Daksh and Kushal Sampanna Hitgrahi (Prime Minister Daksha) scheme has been implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment from the year 2021-22.

Under this, short term training programs to the eligible target groups – up-skilling / re-skilling; Skill development training program is provided on the basis of Entrepreneurship Development Program and Long Term Training Program.

Under this Pradhan Mantri-Daksh Yojana, these training programs will be implemented through Government Training Institutes, Regional Skill Councils constituted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as well as other credible institutions.

Salient features

Through the Pradhan Mantri Daksha Portal and App, any person will be able to get information related to skill development training at one place by visiting the Prime Minister Daksha Portal.

With a single click one can get information about skill development training happening near him/her and he/she can easily able to register himself/herself for this skill training.

This portal is available on the official website while Pradhan Mantri Daksh App is available on Google Play Store.
