Central government launched skill training program for 3 lakh migrant workers in 116 districts
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has started skill training of 3 lakh migrant workers in the identified 116 districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. Under this, the central government goes ahead and runs centrally sponsored schemes along with central sector schemes for the overall development of the states. Its mission is to provide demand-driven skills and orientation of workers and rural population in the post-Kovid era under the centrally sponsored and centrally managed (CSCM) component of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 2016-2020. The Ministry will start programs in selected districts
