1, 07,000 Positions Lying Vacant in Armed Forces

NEW DELHI: Nearly 1, 07,000 positions are lying vacant in the armed forces. The figure for vacant posts in Indian Army is at all-time high with around 86,000 vacancies. The details were provided by the Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik while responding to queries in Rajya Sabha. As per the reply given by MoS Defence, 79,349 positions of junior commissioned officers and other ranks are lying vacant in the Indian Army while the number for officers was 6,975. Nod for Purchase of 12 LUH from HAL

NEW DELHI: In a first, IAF turned a new leaf by giving nod to induction of one of its women fighter pilot to a MiG-29 squadron. Army Recruitment Scam: Candidates Paid Bribes to Get in

NEW DELHI: In a hall of shame, an internal inquiry conducted by Army revealed that some candidates have paid bribes to get selected in armed forces. They made it into the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, and cleared the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the National Defence Academy (NDA) in December 2020 by paying bribes. INS Dhruv to Track Satellites, Strategic Missiles

MUMBAI: To meet the security challenges posed by China’s new-found aggression, which is exhibited by the fast-expanding People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) in the Indo-Pacific region,. IAF Group Captain Killed in MiG 21 Bison Aircraft Crash

BHOPAL: In a heart-rendering incident, an Air Force Group Captain died in an accident when a MiG 21 Bison aircraft crashed while taking off in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
