AFCAT Medical Standards: Air Force Common Admission Test also known as (AFCAT) is the selection test conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the enlistment of officers. The AFCAT test is directed twice each year in February and September. Through AFCAT, IAF fills the opening of officer rank posts in different offices including Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch. India increases strength of Indian Airforce, Akash-NG Missile successfully tested
Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Monday successfully test-fired the New Generation Akash-NG missile (Akash-NG) amidst ongoing tension from China over the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The test was carried out from the Integrated Test Range off the coast of Odisha, where the missile successfully demolished its torget. Akash-NG is a new-generation surface-to-air missile, which will be used by the Indian Air Force with the aim of preventing high maneuvering air threats. Tejas Purchase Deal : Indian Air Force to get first aircraft in March 2024
Indian Air Force will get its first delivery in March 2024 under the purchase deal of indigenously developed fighter aircraft Tejas for Rs 48 thousand crore. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Chairman R.K. Madhavan said on Sunday that after the delivery of four aircraft in the first delivery, 16 aircraft would be made available to the Air Force every year till the completion of the supply of 83 aircraft from 2025.
