Henley Passport Index 2022 released recently. The latest edition shows record-breaking levels of travel freedom for the top-ranked countries, Japan and Singapore. The report also shows that the global mobility gap was the largest recorded since the index was created 17 years ago. Passport holders from two Asian countries, Japan and Singapore, can now enter 192 destinations around the world visa-free. This is 166 more than Afghanistan. India Successfully Tests BrahMos Naval Variant Missile

Threes Jaish Terrorists Killed in Encounter in Budgam
Three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists were killed in an overnight encounter with security forces in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday. The encounter broke out in Budgam’s Zolwa village late on Thursday, a police official said. Three terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the security forces, the official said. “All three slain terrorists were affiliated with JeM terror outfit. India Dismisses China Claims Of Unfurling Flag on Galwan Valley
In a strong message to China, India has rubbished media reports of claims by that country of having unfurled their flag in the Galwan Valley, where the armed forces of both sides are locked in a standoff. China’s construction activities on Pangong Tso
In the last two months, it has been observed that China is building a bridge connecting the northern and southern banks of Pangong Lake. Deployment of first regiment of S-400 by Feb 2022
The Indian Air Force is likely to complete the deployment of the first regiment of the S-400 Triumf missile systems at an airbase in Punjab by February, military officials said on Saturday. To ensure swift movement of troops at borders with China and Pakistan, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has constructed 24 bridges and three roads, including at the height of over 19,000 feet in Ladakh, in four states and two union territories. Tri-service exercise conducted in Nicobar
A multi-domain tri-service exercise is currently in progress at the strategically important Nicobar group of islands of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, military officials said on Wednesday.
