All bank accounts to be linked to Aadhaar by 31 March 2021
The Finance Ministry has been directed to link all bank accounts with Aadhaar by March 31, 2021. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave these instructions to all banks. He said that the accounts which need to be linked with PAN should also be completed by 31 March. Aadhaar card is an identity card issued by the Government of India to the citizens of India. It has a unique 12-digit number that the Unique Identification Authority of India issues. Government of India constitute committee to review guidelines of television rating agencies
Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has constituted a committee to review the guidelines applicable to television rating agencies in India. The committee will be chaired by Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati. This committee will re-review the existing television rating guidelines so that various procedures can be strengthened to make them more reliable and transparent. Panna Tiger Reserve gets status of Biosphere Reserve from UNESCO
Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh has been included in UNESCO’s ‘World Network of Biosphere Reserves’ list. Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar, while sharing the news on Twitter, congratulated the reserve for the situation and praised its work on tiger conservation. Adding the tiger reserve to the UNESCO list will help in discovering new measures towards the conservation and sustainability of wildlife.
