China Bars Entry Of Indian Travellers

Recently, China has temporarily banned foreign travelers coming from India and now entry will not be granted despite visa and residence permit. However, the decision will not affect Chinese diplomats, foreigners with service and C visas.

The Chinese embassy said that China had to take this step due to the corona virus epidemic. China has decided not to temporarily grant entry to Indian citizens with valid visa holders and residential permits, citing the corona virus epidemic.

In view of this, many flights from India to China have been canceled. Due to this move of China, about 2,000 Indian professionals will not be able to return to their work in the cities of China.

The Chinese Embassy in India said on 05 November 2020 that China has decided to temporarily ban foreign nationals from entering India by holding valid visas or holding residential permits.

Apart from India, Britain, France, Belgium and the Philippines are among the countries where China has decided to ban the entry of citizens. Meanwhile, the Indian Foreign Ministry has said that the announcement made by the Chinese Embassy is a temporary measure. Many other countries have also announced such steps.
