Various designs were being made in the dark, thrilled people were cheering with applause. This was the view from the grounds of the Cariappa Complex on the centenary celebrations of the Rajput Regimental Centre. On Wednesday, soldiers dressed in LED lights captivated by presenting a unique continuity drill. Seeing the fascinating performance, the guests sitting in the audience applauded. During this, the military band enthralled the audience by playing the tune of ‘Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna Ab Hamare Dil Mein Hai’. Earlier in the day a bi-annual conference was also held.
Apart from officers of Rajput Regiment posted on various fronts in the country, the arrival of retired officers had started from Tuesday evening to participate in the conference and reunion ceremony here. While military officers were busy with the bi-annual conference on Wednesday, retired officers participated in various programs. In the program, Union Minister of State for Road Transport and former Chief of Army Staff General VK Singh and Vice Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General CP Mohanty, besides officers and retired officers of Rajput Regimental Center from different places of the country were present.
