PM Narendra Modi unveiled remembrance stamp to give tribute to late Air Marshal Arjan Singh

On the 87^th anniversary of IAF PM Narendra Modi pay tribute and honour to the Late Marshal Arjan Singh by presenting the remembrance stamp  to IAF. IT is a token for the honour and tribute  to the services rendered by 5 star rank officer.

This  will be  100^th birth anniversary  of this great personality of IAF.

Marshal of the Air Force

• He was born in April,1919 the first and only officer who got 5 rank star as Marshal of IAF.
• Many awards  like, General Service Sewal Medal, Sainya Seva Medal presents to him.
• Other awards like Distinguished Flying,  Padma VIbhushan  and many more awards also present to him.
• This year on April 19 a half marathon was organized by the IAF in all the air base.
• In the event more than 10000 air warrior participate. Even more event like hockey competition also conducted.
• MIAF was fond of hockey  as a result and keeping it into considerations IAF will organised the hockey competition  in their second edition.
