Central government approves flight with 70 percent capacity to domestic airlines
Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the number of passengers in domestic flights started with 30 thousand passengers on 25-May increased to 2.06 lakh on 8 November. According to the Minister, the Ministry of Aviation has allowed domestic airlines to increase their current flight capacity from 60 per cent to 70 per cent (of Covid-19 pre-capacity). The central government had approved starting the domestic flight service from May 25, two months after the lockdown. All bank accounts to be linked to Aadhaar by 31 March 2021
The Finance Ministry has been directed to link all bank accounts with Aadhaar by March 31, 2021. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave these instructions to all banks. He said that the accounts which need to be linked with PAN should also be completed by 31 March. Aadhaar card is an identity card issued by the Government of India to the citizens of India. It has a unique 12-digit number that the Unique Identification Authority of India issues. India-China deadlock over LAC to end soon
India-China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh are beginning to see the end of the last six months of deadlock. Ordnance Factory Board Recieves Order For US Ammunition Supply
India’s state-run Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) has got an order from the US to supply ammunition. The OFB, one of the country’s oldest defence establishments, has received an export order for 5.56X45 mm NATO M193 Ball bullets from the US. “The ammunition will be manufactured at Ordnance Factory Varangaon in Maharashtra and will be supplied in the current fiscal year,” OFB Deputy Director General Gagan Chaturvedi told IANS.
