INS Dhruv to Track Satellites, Strategic Missiles
MUMBAI: To meet the security challenges posed by China’s new-found aggression, which is exhibited by the fast-expanding People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) in the Indo-Pacific region,. India is set to commission INS Dhruv to boost surveillance capabilities, track satellites, strategic missiles and map the Indian Ocean bed. INS Dhruv will be deployed in the Indian Ocean to track enemy missiles targeted at Indian cities and military establishments. It will act as an early warning system.
