Our Defence Minister Rajnath Singh put Foundation Stone of Thal Sena Bhawan

New headquarters will be built for the Indian Army. Sources in the Indian Army said that the Army building will be constructed for the Indian Army at Delhi Cantt. Its existing offices in South Block and Sena Bhawan continue unchanged. News Agency ANI has said that quoting army sources, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will perform Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the new building.

The Government as also preparing to build a new building of Parliament House. The government has approved a plan to redevelop Central Vista and a 2024 deadline has been set for it. The new Parliament House building proposed by the government will have 900 seats inside the house. At the same time, 1350 MPs can comfortably sit in the Lok Sabha during the joint session.

This Army building, to be built in 7.5 lakh square meters that will have 6014 offices that will include 1684 offices for military and civilian officers and 4330 offices for Sub-Staff. The new army headquarters will also provide employment opportunities to the youth of India. It will take five years to complete the constructions. This building will be known as “Thal Sena Bhawan”.
