Nagaland Firing Incident : A big incident has come to the fore in Nagaland. In Mon district here, 13 civilians were killed in firing by security forces. There is a tense situation in the area after this incident that took place in Oating area on Saturday evening. Angry people set the vehicles of the security forces on fire.
It is being told that the victims were laborers and after work were going to their homes in a pickup. When he did not reach his house till late night, the villagers started looking for him and then his family came to know about the incident.
There was no confirmation from the administration till late night regarding this incident. However, after the tweet of the Chief Minister of the state, the information about the incident became public. Before the CM’s tweet, IPS officer Rupin Sharma had shared a video of the incident on Twitter. He wrote that there are reports of the death of many civilians in the firing of security forces in Oting village. However, after some time he deleted this video.

On this incident, it is being said that the security forces had received inputs that there would be people from the militant organization NSCN (KYA) at that place and could carry out any incident there. So the operation was planned.

The car of the same color which was mentioned in the input passed by. The people of the security force asked her to stop but that car did not stop. After this the security force opened fire. After going later, it was found that they are civilians. About 6 civilians were killed in this.
According to sources, in the meantime the villagers came to that place and started snatching weapons from the people of the security force and also set the car on fire. Then there was firing and there are reports of some civilians being killed here too. A security force jawan was also killed in this.
