According to the information, Late Lt Col Manmohan Khanna had fought the tribals of Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir in the year 1948. He was seriously injured in this battle. Despite this, he stood alone in front of the tribesmen. For his bravery, the President later honored him with the Mahavir Chakra.
