Two soldiers, including an army officer, came under the grip of an explosion during patrolling near a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The army said that two jawans, including a lieutenant, were seriously injured in the incident, who were immediately rushed to a nearby military hospital, where they later died.
Officials said that the army has laid landmines at the place where the blast took place to prevent infiltration from across the border.
