India’s economic diplomacy website launched

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has launched the Economic Diplomacy website of the Ministry on 16 December 2020. The purpose of this website is to demonstrate regional and state-wise strength along with India’s economic strength.

Jaishankar said that, this website will work as a two-way system, which helps our country and state level businesses to increase exports globally, explore employment opportunities as well as help foreign industry and business towards India. Will work to attract.

This website will also showcase India’s economic, regional and state-wise strength to make attractive economic partnership. It aims to provide important and relevant information on key economic indicators, policy updates of the Central and State Government as well as the latest business news and trade data.

This website contains information about global mineral resources and government as well as agricultural exports and employment opportunities abroad for Indian citizens and businesses.

It highlights the economic and policy profile of states and union territories as well as the scope of economic business opportunities that these states and union territories offer in great detail.

The website will connect interested investors with appropriate agencies in India such as the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) for agricultural exports in India, the Indian trade portal for trade with India and Invest India for investment in India.
