The Indian Army has handed over the captured People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier in eastern Ladakh on Friday back to China today. The official source gave this information on Monday. China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier was caught in the southern fringe area of ​​Pangong Soo in eastern Ladakh on Friday morning. The Chinese troops had come to the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Sources said the soldier was handed over to China at the Chushul-Moldo border site in eastern Ladakh at 10:10 am.

The Indian Army on Friday crossed a Line of Actual Control (LAC) and captured a Chinese soldier on the southern coast of Pangong Tso (lake) in eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army has returned the Chinese soldier at a time when the deadlock between the armies of the two countries in East Ladakh has been continuing for the past eight months. The army had said that a soldier of the People’s Liberation Army of China had crossed the LAC and entered the Indian border. After this, he was taken into custody by the Indian soldiers stationed there. During interrogation, the soldier told that he had lost the way.
The Chinese military in Beijing confirmed that one of its jawans had lost its way in the China-India border areas. The PLA’s official website said that a soldier of China’s People’s Liberation Army Advance Defense Force lost its way to the China-India border early Friday due to the dark and complex geographical location. India has been informed in this regard. The Indian side can help find and rescue the missing Chinese jawan.
