India – Japan Joint Military Exercise- Dharma Guardian

The India and Japan  military forces are  participating in the joint military  exercise .

It  will held at Mizoram from 19th October and last for two weeks.

This is a training event for the two  countries forces  communication and for terrorism , it will be held at Counter – Insurgency and Jungle Warfare school in Variegate.

The main aim of this exercise is to enhance the operation ability and coordination to handle the challenges in the security systems especially counter terrorism.

Other aim is to deal with the challenges in the jungle as well as urban areas.

Indian army and Japanese Ground Self Defence Forces (JGSDF) each have 25 soldiers.

The Indian army and The Japanese Self defence Forces will enhance the cooperation ability between various countries.

The two forces will get training for the performance in the battlefield against terrorism.

It will enhance the relations with other countries.

Hence the forces team up to practice  train and  test their equipments and operations .
