Indian Army’s memorable victory over Pakistan in 1971 has completed 50 years, which the Indian Army is celebrating this year as the Golden Victory Year. In this episode, the Sapta Shakti Command of the Army organized a two-day mega event in Jaipur. In which mini marathon, exhibition of army weapons were organized on the first day.
The center of the biggest attraction in the series of mega event of the army was the multi-activity show held on Sunday in which different troops of the army showed amazing feats on dog show, horse show, motorcycle. Among all this, the center of attraction was the presentation of the army’s helicopters Dhruv, Rudra and Chetak.
During the event, the war heroes of 1971 were felicitated by the Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra and Lt Gen Amardeep Singh Bhinder, Army Commander, South Western Command at Rambagh Polo Ground, Jaipur. Various performances including a mesmerizing show by the army band were organized on the occasion. The army dog ​​show, jumping horse, skill riding, motorcycle riding, and horse riding teams enthralled all the spectators.

During the program the Governor of Rajasthan and Army Commander, South Western Command felicitated Dhanno Devi, wife of Late Col. Hoshiar Singh, Param Vir Chakra, Padmanabh Singh, grandson of Late Brigadier Sawai Bhawani Singh MVC and Col. Ranvijay Singh, grandson of Lt. Gen. Sagat Singh PVSM. . At the end of the program the Governor of Rajasthan addressed the grand gathering and a grateful nation dedicated this program to the sacrifice of the Indian Army.
