Army Chief General MM Naravane on Friday said with the opening of the doors of the National Defense Academy (NDA) to women cadets, it is expected that they will be welcomed with equal treatment and professionalism as per norms. The Defense Ministry had last month told the Supreme Court that a notification allowing women candidates to take the NDA entrance exam would also be issued in May next year.
