Defence Minister unveiled the new submarine INS Khanderi

To increase the power and efficiency of Indian Navy Our Defence Minister Raj nath Singh  makes tremendous efforts to give best and modernize technologies  which can deal with any unwanted and wanted circumstances. To face these circumstances he commissioned  indigenous  submarine INS Khanderi . It was constructed by Mazgaon Docks Shipbuilders Limited company.

Before associating INS Khanderi in Navy it was undergone many trials  for more than 2 and half years.  This submarine is equipped with the best  modern technologies.

The first scorpene introduce is INS Kalveri. INS Khanderi  is the second scorpene. They are capable of firing torpedoes missiles , mines, anti submarine torpedoes etc. It is constructed in 5 sections.

There are threats in sea route like piracy, terrorism, which obstruct in sea trade and give inverse impact on economical growth of the country. Now a days India co pup with  a group which built their own aircraft carriers and strategic submarine . The shipping industry can contributes major role in developing  economic.

The submarine INS Khanderi is inspired by the “ Kanneri” fish which can hunt while swimming beneath the oceans using barbells.
