Trishul Defence Academy 
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final merit list for CDS 1 2025 on its website — upsc.gov.in. A total of 365 candidates have qualified based on the written exam held in April 2025 and SSB interviews. Selected candidates are shortlisted for the 160th (DE) Course at the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy. Vacancies include 100 for IMA, 32 for INA, and 32 for AFA, with some reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders. Medical results are not considered, and candidature is provisional pending verification of date of birth and educational qualifications.
The following are the lists, in order of merit of 365 ( 227 + 103 + 35 ) candidates who have qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in April, 2025 and SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 160th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e. No. 219 F(P) Course.
This marks the completion of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2025 recruitment process, conducted for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Air Force Academy (AFA).
Thousands of aspirants across the country appeared for the written exam and SSB interviews, and now the final list of recommended candidates is out!

What is the CDS Final Merit List?
The CDS 1 2025 final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam and SSB interview conducted by the Services Selection Board.
It contains:

Order of Merit based on total marks

Only medically fit candidates are considered for final selection
This list determines which candidates will be joining the upcoming training courses at:

What Happens After the Final Merit List?
Selected candidates will receive joining instructions directly from their respective academies.
They must:

Complete document verification and medical fitness procedures

Report on the given date for training at IMA, INA, or AFA
Candidates whose results are pending for medicals or documentation may be included later on a provisional basis.
