BrahMos missile deal worth USD 374 million inked with Philippines
A deal worth USD 374 million has been inked between the BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd and the Phillipines. The deal is for the shore based anti-ship variant supersonic cruise missiles. This is the first time India has a deal for exporting a missile which has been made in India under an Indo-Russian Joint Venture. Jammu: Four jawans injured as grenade explodes near border
Four jawans, including a constable, were injured when a grenade exploded near the border in Nowshera Sector Kek Kalsia of Rajouri. In view of the critical condition of one of the injured, he has been referred to the Command Hospital, Udhampur, while the other three were taken to 150 Army Generals for treatment. The Indian government bought Israeli spyware Pegasus in 2017 as part of a $2-billion package for weapons including a missile system, The New York Times reported Friday.
