Karambir Singh Take Charge Of Indian Navy Chief

Vice Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of Eastern Command, will take charge of the 24th Indian Navy’s Chief on May 31, 2019. 23rd Indian Navy Chief  Sunil Lamba will retire on May 31, 2019. Before appointing as cheif of Indian Navy he worked as Flag Officer in the Vishakhapatnam  as head of the Eastern Naval Command. Admiral Karambir Singh said, “It is a matter of great honor and pride for me to take charge as the 24th Chief of the Naval Staff. My ancestors have firmly ensured that the Navy has a very solid basis and reached on  new heights ”

General Shailesh Tinekar Was Appointed As Commandar Of Un Mission In South Sudon

ISRO successfully launched the satellite PSLV- 2B

Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) launches ‘RISAT-2B’ satellite from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on May 22. This is the fourth satellite of the RIYASAT series.
