Tragic Demise of CDS Bipin Rawat : India’s Chief of Army Defense Staff (CDS) Vipin Rawat passed away in a helicopter crash today, December 8, 2021. He was 64 years old. Indian Air Force helicopter carrying 14 people including General Rawat from Coimbatore to Sulur crashed in Coonoor. The army has officially confirmed this. CDS Bipin Rawat helicopter crash : There has been a major accident in Coonoor between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu. Airforce aircraft Mi17-V5 helicopter has crashed.
