Can Arts Stream Students Join NDA ?

NDA is National Defence Academy and is the Prestigious Only Tri Services Organization in India.ToGet Into NAtional Defence Academy one has to clear 3 Steps:-

Step 1-Written Exam

Step 2-SSB Interview

Step 3-Medicals

Once the Candidate Clears all the 3 Steps,He or She Gets into National Defence Academy.NDA does not have any Provision for Reservations That is The Seats are not Reserved for OBC/SC/ST.

Eligibility

Often Candidates Get Confused over the Eligibility Criteria .To understand the Eligibility Criteria Candidates with any background that is Arts,Science,Maths can Join NDA however Through NDA you have to Opt Either of the 3 Services i.e Army,Navy or Air Force.

Air Force and Navy Require Technical People Thus Physics and Maths Is Required in 10+2 to get into Indian Air Force or Indian Navy through NDA however Army does not have any Pre requisite Condition like this thus Students From Any Background can join Indian Army through NDA

Students Often Get Confused with Percentage Criteria or Minimum Marks.NDA does not Require Any Minimum Marks to sit For Examinations.

Age Criteria

Age Criteria to Reach NDA is 16.5 to 19.5 yrs however to Reach NDA One has to Clear the 3 Steps:-

Step 1-Written Exam

Step 2-SSB Interview

Step 3-Medicals

This again takes Time.The Time To Clear 3 Step is Approximately 11 Months thus age for filling up the NDA Form is 15.5 to 18.5 yrs. After 18.5 yrs NDA Forms Cannot be filled up.
