RBI directs HDFC Bank to stop selling new credit cards
The Reserve Bank of India has asked a private sector lender, HDFC Bank, to discontinue the new sourcing of credit cards to customers on a temporary basis, along with its digital launch. The central bank has also asked the bank to stop launching digital business-generating activities that are employed under Digital 2.0 as well as other proposed business IT applications. The Supreme Court has issued a directive to install CCTV in police stations across the country on 02 December 2020. The Supreme Court has directed the states and union territories across the country to implement the court order in the right spirit. Uday Shankar has been named as the President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI – FICCI) for the year 2020-21. He will replace current president Sangeeta Reddy.
