Appointments in Indian Airforce – Chief and Vice Chief of IAF

In Indian Airforce, appointments are for the rank of Air chief Marshal and Vice chief have been done and which was effected from 30 Sept 2019.

The two appointments were

• Chief of Air staff – Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Bhadauria
• Vice Chief  – Air Marshal HS Arora

ACM Rakesh Bhadauria  will take over after the retirement of ACM BS Dhonoa and AM Hs Arora will succeededACM Rakesh Bhadauria.

 Rakesh Bhadauria

1. He was very dedicated person and responsible person who prior hold various positions , .
2. He started his career in IAF in 1980 in fighter stream of IAF.
3. He won sword of honour for overall first position in every merit
4. He had experienced hours and days and various types of fighter and transport aircraft
5. He also take part in recently Airforce exercise named Garuna  which was held between India and France.

Harjit Singh Arora

1. He commence his career as fighter pilot on December 1981.
2. He was awarded Ati Vishist Seva Medal by President for his commendable services .
3. He had experience of flying MiG 21, MiG 29 and other aircraft and helicopters too
4. He completed his graduation from Defence service staff College (DSSC) and National Defence college(NDC)
5. He was given title of Commander- in – Chief in 1997
