Almora Gurukul Prepares Indian Army Officers Thanks To Rudra Singh Rawat

Rudra Singh Rawat, a former soldier of the state, has come to the mountain to prepare an officer for the army at his own expense, by rejecting a package of Rs 30 lakh from a coaching institute in Delhi. About 200 officers were students of Rudra Singh who have now become part of the Indian Army.

Ironically, the financially weak students of the mountain are unknown due to this ability, while their passion has made them poor and meritorious students of many provinces.

An academy with an army-like atmosphere can include any child from any state of the country, with the condition that the child should have passion to join the army while being meritorious. In the academy, poor students of Uttarakhand are given special priority.

Rudra, a resident of Afun village of Rotapani in Syalde block, has taken VRS from the army. He used to teach students preparing for NDA, SSB in Delhi, Dehradun as soon as he came on leave during his job in the army. About two hundred of his students have become officers in the army. This year, 14 children have been selected in their academy, including seven from Uttarakhand.
