All Girls Squardon in NDA-Sierra

With Hon Supreme Court Ruling Coming in September 2021,Doors of National Defence Academy Opened up For Girls From MDA 2 2021 Onwards. 19 Seats were Allocated to Girls of which 10 were through Army,6 Were Through Air Force and 3 Were Through Navy.July 2022 Was the First All Girls Batch Entry into National Defence Academy.There were many Discussions Pertaining to Girls Accomodation in NDA. Indian Armed Forces Came up with a Proposal of All Girls Squadron Named as “Sierra”.

Officers Training Academy has 2 all Girls Squadron. On The Similar Grounds National Defence Academy will Eventually Make All Girls Squardon. Presently as far as Separate Squardon,National Defence academy has not made any arrangements for 19 Girls however Lady Instructor,Lady Doctors,Separate Accommodation,Separate Enclosures,Rooms are all Setup in National Defence Academy.

As far as Training and Drill is Considered,It is Same For Both Males and Females

Sierra Squardon will Eventually be Set up in 3 Years time and till then hopefully More Seats will be Allocated to Girls in National Defence Academy
