AirForce 2020 X Group Syllabus

AirForce 2020 X Group Syllabus -:

Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts AF X & Y Exam for recruitment of Airmen posts in various branches in AF. It is conducted for X Group (Technical Branch) and Y Group (Non-Technical).

In this blog, we are going to provide you with the cumulative syllabus for Air Force X Group 2020 Exam. 

Air Force X Group Selection Process:-

Selection for the Air Force X Group is based on the three-phase examination which includes the following: –

Phase I- It includes written which is held at an allotted exam centre.

Phase II- It includes PFT (Physical Fitness Test), Adaptability Test- 1 (Situation Reaction Test) and Adaptability Test -2 (Group Discussion).

Phase III- It includes a Medical Fitness Test which is conducted Medical Centre of IAF.

AirForce 2020 X Group Syllabus

AF X Group Exam Pattern:-

Test Paper for Group X Technical Trades consists of questions related to Physics, English and Mathematics. The duration of Group X Technical Trades Written Paper is 60 minutes (1 hour). 

There is a penalty of 1/4 marks on every wrong answer. Following is the subject wise marks allotment for Group X Exam:-

• Physics – 25 Marks
• Mathematics – 25 Marks
• English – 20 Marks

Total Duration: 1 Hour (60 Minutes).

Group X (Education Instructor) Trade Exam:-

Group X (Education Instructor) Trade Written Exam consists of two papers:-

• Paper I (Objective Type) – It basically comprises of questions related to objective type questions on General English, General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total duration is 45 minutes.
•  Paper-II (Descriptive Type) – It mainly adjoins questions of the descriptive type which is used to test the language comprehension and expressiveness ability of the candidate. Total duration is 35 minutes.
