Every year more than 5 lakh candidates appear in NDA examination and out of these only 375 get selected and join the academy for the cadet training.
The best are selected after SSB and Interview. The training period is for the 3 years which each one of the selected candidates has to go through and thereafter do the specialization of 1 Year
- NDA training starts with a hair- cut that all the cadets have to go through which in a way becomes their identity
- All the cadets are allotted a room for their stay.
- Surprise Inspection are being done, so that rooms are kept in order and cleanliness.
- The day starts nearly about 3.30 am which is following by outdoor training.
- Rough training and much pressure sometime even break down many of the cadets.
- Exams are conducted at regular intervals.
- Many activities both indoor and outdoor in which a cadets has to indulge in PT, yoga, horse riding, basketball, football, hockey, literature.
- The pressure given by instructors and serious only to build a strong person in you.
- Discipline and time management are two ways to survive in the academy.
- Life in NDA is very tough and strict punishment is given to the defaulters.
- Cadet learn to build confidence and also they learn how to work under pressure.
- They make you a confidence individual who is ready to serve the country.
- You become more passionate.
Life in NDA is tough with rigorous training and strict rules, but you will learn and gain a lot of passion and self confidence.
There are 3 years will be the best period and you will carry the golden memories once you are going out of the academy.
