Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid was elected President of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly on 07 June 2021. Shahid will preside over the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly that begins in September. The 193-member General Assembly voted for the election of the President on 07 June. World Bank has released India’s GDP growth forecast for the year 2021. The World Bank has said that the Indian economy is expected to grow at 8.3 percent in the year 2021. Earlier, the World Bank had said that the Indian economy will grow at the rate of 10.1 percent in the financial year 2021-22. Indian Army via it’s official website has given an update regarding the RTCPR Test being necessary for the candidates appearing for the SSB Interview round. The concerned candidates need to carry a RTCPR Covid-19 negative report with themselves while reporting at the selection centre. The test report should be 72 hrs old, i.e. the report has to be conducted within 3 days (72 hrs). Two Army Female Officers Selected For First Time For Helicopter Pilot Training
For the first time, two women military officers have been selected for helicopter pilot training. Both these officers are being trained at the Combat Army Aviation Training School, Nashik, Maharashtra. The army gave this information on Wednesday.
