Candidates have to go through the following stages to become the UP Police Constable:

1. Written Exam (OMR-based)
2. Document Verification and Physical Standard Test
3. Physical Efficiency Test (Running)
4. MEDICAL ND MERIT LIST

• Eyes test (sight + colour blindness)

• Tooth test.
• Blood test (all variants) + Urine test.
• There should not be any physical disability in regard to the hands and legs of the candidates.
