UPSC NDA 2 2021 Notification  

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to release recruitment notification for National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2021 on 09 June 2021 on its website- upsc.gov.in. According to the UPSC calendar, UPSC NDA 2 applications will be invited from 09 June 2021 and will continue till 29 June 2021 on the UPSC online website - upsconline.nic.in. The notification is likely to be postponed due to the status of COVID-19 in the country. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of UPSC for new updates.

After the release of the detail notification on the website, candidates will be able to get complete information related to the application including educational qualification and other eligibility. The examination to be held in the month of September will be the second examination of the year 2021. This examination is held twice a year.

UPSC NDA 2 2021: Educational Qualification

For Army Wing of National Defense Academy: Candidates should pass class 12 examination from 10 + 2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education or University.

For Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defense Academy and for 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme in Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10 + 2 pattern of school education or State run equivalent. Board of Education or University.

Candidates appearing in class 12 under the 10 + 2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

How to Apply

Candidates are required to apply online using the website upsconline.nic.in. The Commission has introduced the facility to withdraw applications for those candidates who do not wish to appear for the examination.

Application Fees

To pay Rs. 100 (one hundred rupees only) to the candidates (except sons of SC / ST candidates / JCOs / NCOs / ORs as specified in Note 2 below, who are exempted from payment of fees) Needed. SBI branch by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa / Master Card / RuPay Credit / Debit Card.

NDA 2 2021 Exam Pattern

There will be only objective type questions in the papers of all subjects. Mathematics Question Paper (Examination Handbook) and Part "B" of General Aptitude Test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as in English.

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (negative marking) for incorrect answers marked by a candidate in objective type question papers.

Candidates are not allowed to use calculator or mathematical or logarithmic table to answer objective type question papers (examination book). Therefore, they should not be brought inside the examination hall.
