It is the Nursing Branch of Indian Armed Forces. It is an all-women nursing officer corp of Indian Armed Forces under which a female serves as a nursing officer.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>It is an integral part of the Indian Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). The AFMS consists of Army Medical Corps (AMC), Army Dental Corps (ADC) and the Military Nursing Service (MNS). The AFMS personnel serve in the medical establishments of Army, Navy and Air Force.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>An MNS rank is basically a Short Service Commissioned officer post. Female nursing trainees go through a 4 year training period in B.Sc Nursing Course offered at six defence medical training institute dedicated for it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Age Limit &#8211; 17 -25 Years\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>MNS Selection Procedure\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>MNS entrance exam will be Objective Type Computer Based, which will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General English, and General Awareness. Aspirants will be given 90 minutes to solve. Candidates who have passed the examination will be called for interview and after that clearance, a medical examination test is conducted.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Medical Standards In MNS<\/h3>\n<p>The medical standards in MNS are quite different from the rest of the defence entrance exams.
