An Indian soldier posted in Rezang La is reported to have died of a heart attack. Havaldar Kuldeep Sharma died on 18 November. Havildar Kuldeep Sharma, a native of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, was posted in a mechanized infantry battalion. Havaldar Sharma started working in the army in 2001.<\/p>\n
The Indian Army captured several important peaks including Rejang La, Rechin La, Mukhapri in Chushul area of \u200b\u200bEast Ladakh on 29-30 August. Even the important military cantonment of China located in Moldo also came in the reach of the Indian soldier. But it is extremely difficult and expensive to keep troops posted in these peaks in winter. Here in November, the temperature has gone down to minus 25 degrees, which is expected to remain below 30-40 degrees for the next five months. Indian troops have been deployed in the most difficult areas of eastern Ladakh since May. After tensions with China began, the Indian Army deployed more than 50000 soldiers from Chushul, Pangang to Daulat Beg Oldi. In these areas, the temperature in winter falls to minus 40 degrees. Indian Army and Air Force started preparing for winter from July itself. In addition to special tents and clothes for the soldiers posted in eastern Ladakh, the arrangements for medicines needed to protect them from the diseases caused by the cold in the high areas were completed.
