Nyingombam, who has been elected as the chairman for the next two years, has previously held the position of executive chairman after Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed resigned in July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh has congratulated Mr. Ningombam via Twitter on being elected as the new President of Hockey India from Manipur.
