The main aim is to test the mental alertness, presence of mind and self-confidence of the candidate. It checks whether a prospective candidate has proper control over his nerves while he is flying an aircraft. For this, the candidate is put through tests including meter reading, flying test and drum test. CPSS test is once in lifetime and once failed you are out of flying dream forever.<\/p>\n<p>CPSS was intended to address the IAF\u2019s long-standing demand for a scientific selection system on par with advanced nations, which can screen pilot aspirants to meet the demands of the latest aircraft.<br \/>\nCPSS places special emphasis on psychomotor skills and cognitive abilities of aspirants. It ensures objectivity in results.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Only one chance in CPSS Test<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A candidate is allowed&nbsp;only one chance&nbsp;in his lifetime to appear for this test. Once a candidate is rejected, he is deemed to be permanently unfit for selection into the Air Force in the Flying Branch.<\/p>\n<p>Trishul Defence Academy has a record of 100% sucess rate in CPSS test till now through the classes guided by Wing Cdr.
