There are many places in Delhi that attract people to visit. Its beautiful tourist spots, lush markets, big malls and much more \u00a0have always been successful in attracting people. Many historical buildings such as Red Fort, Qutub Minar tell the history of this city, while the city also has a memorial <strong>India Gate<\/strong>,<strong> Amar Jawan Jyoti<\/strong> dedicated to the heroes of the country, which is popular all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>To commemorate and pay tribute to those heroes, a National War Museum has been constructed near India Gate, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, <strong>Shri Narendra Modi on 25 February 2019.<\/strong> \u00a0National War Memorial is memorial to honour, appreciate and remember the spirited and valiant sons and daughters of India who had the distinction of serving the country in \u201cmilitary uniform\u201d, and are no longer with us. It took a year to build this complete memorial. This museum can hold around 250 people at a time. There are 16 Honor walls built on which 25,942 brave warriors are mentioned. In this memorial, the names of all the martyrs of all branches of <strong>Indian Armed Forces <\/strong>have been inscribed together. This monument is divided into 4 cycles (part).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AMAR CHAKRA (CIRCLE OF IMMORALITY)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>VEERTA CHAKRA (CIRCLE OF BRAVERY)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>TYAG CHAKRA (CIRCLE OF SACRIFICE) <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>RAKSHAK CHAKRA (CIRCLE OF PROTECTION) <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>AMAR CHAKRA:<\/strong> Amar Chakra is built in the inner side of the museum. The Amar Jawan Jyoti is installed in this cycle . This light will always burn in the memory of the soldiers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>VEERTA CHAKRA:<\/strong>. It mentions all about the four wars of India.<\/li>\n<li><strong>TYAG CHAKRA:<\/strong> Around 26 thousand martyred soldiers have been named in this cycle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>RAKSHA CHAKRA:<\/strong> It includes 700 trees planted in it which resembles the soldiers deployed in the security of India.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trishuldefenceacademy.in\/blog\/war-heroes-2\/shrine-to-martyrs-national-war-memorial\/attachment\/images-3-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5851\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5851 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trishuldefenceacademy.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/images-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trishuldefenceacademy.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/images-3.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.trishuldefenceacademy.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/images-3-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>THINGS\u00a0 MENTIONED IN MEMORIAL MUSEUM<\/h5>\n<p>The names of the martyrs and all about their birth to martyrdom mentioned in the museum. Their names were embossed on bricks. There is also a gallery where the valor and bravery of the soldiers is depicted on the walls. Here the names, posts and regiments of the brave soldiers are also engraved on granite. These brave soldiers had contributed significantly to the India-Pakistan war of 1947, 1965, 1971 and 1999, the Indo-China war of 1962 and peace in Sri Lanka. Statues of soldiers who have been awarded the Gallantry award \u00a0are also installed here. In this memorial\u00a0 you will get to know the stories of valor, sacrifice and patriotism of the soldiers of the country. This memorial will always remind the people of India how many mighty soldiers have been born by this soil. There is no entry fee to come here.
