As you all know the results for NDA 2 2019 conducted on 17th<\/sup> November 2019 was declared recently and now it\u2019s time for the qualifiers to face the second phase of the examination i.e. SSB interview.<\/p>\n

Good news for the candidates is that it is expected that the SSB for the NDA 2 2019 candidates is going to be scheduled on the third week of January 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is to be noted that SSB plays the most important role for any candidate aspiring to be an Officer in Indian Armed Forces. It is one of a kind interview that runs continuously for five days. Analysing a student completely on the basis of their Mental, Physical and Verbal strength. What basically SSB interview looks for in a candidate is Officers like quality in that particular candidate.<\/p>\n

SSB interview consists of three officers GTO officer, Interviewing Officer and Psychological Officer. All of them collectively analyse a student and choose them to go for the next phase i.e. Medical Examination.<\/p>\n

Process of SSB interview<\/strong><\/p>\n

DAY 1 (<\/u>Screening test) <\/u>:<\/h3>\n

The first day also includes some tests like OIR Test<\/strong>, Picture Perception and Description Test<\/strong> (PPDT). After the completion of these tests, unsuccessful candidates are dismissed or screened out.<\/p>\n

DAY 2 (<\/u>Psychology Test) <\/u>:<\/h3>\n

On Day 2, Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)<\/strong> \u00a0and Word Association Test (WAT)<\/strong>are administered.<\/strong> Other tests administered on day two are the Situation Reaction Test (SRT)<\/strong> and Self Description Test (SDT).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Days 3 and 4, Group test by GTO (Group Testing Officer) <\/u>:<\/h3>\n

Day third and Fourth are dedicated to GTO tasks.<\/p>\n

Days 2, 3 & 4, Interview by IO (Interviewing Officer)<\/u> :<\/h3>\n

On day 2, 3 or 4 along with GTO, individual candidates are interviewed; the interview is conducted by the interviewing officer.<\/p>\n

Day 5, final assessment and results (CONFERENCE)<\/u> :<\/h3>\n

Day five is called Conference, all the officers come in Proper Uniform to attend the conference. Each candidate has a conversation with a panel of assessors. Following this, the final results are announced. Successful candidates remain for an intensive medical examination taking three to five days at a military hospital.<\/p>\n
