What is an Airmen<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Soldiers Of Indian Air Force is known as Airmen. Airmen are of two types:-Air Force Group X known as Technical Airmen and Air Force Group Y known as Non Technical Airmen.<\/p>\n

There are two types of Airmen in Indian  Airforce.The  X  Group & Y Group:<\/p>\n

X Group:<\/strong> Also Known as Technical Group.Group X involves all the Technical Work. Starting From Aircraft Maintenance to Radar Fitter to Missiles and Bomb Fitter to It Work.Job Description Involves all The Technical Know How .To Apply For Group X the Candidate has to have PCM in 10+2 and has to have minimum 50% in Aggregate .Also 50% in English is Required.<\/p>\n

Y Group:<\/strong> Also Known as Non Technical Group.Group Y involves all the Non Technicalities.Which means any work in which Brains are not too much used.(Just kidding).Starting From Logistics  to Security to Garuda Commandos to Managing MT Section of IAF ,These are few Job Descriptions of AirForce Y Group.To Apply For Y Group a Candidate  must be pass with any steam in 10 + 2 with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate and 50 % in English<\/p>\n

Selection Procedure for Airmen<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, Adaptability Test-1, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-2 and Medical examination.<\/p>\n
